  WEEK 4:

 BREIFING AND INDENTIFYING THE

MAIN PROBLEM

 6.30 A.M - 7.15 A.M

- All Part 3's students gathered at the parking lot inside of the lecture block. After that, the class representative of each class took the attendance and submitted it to the batch head. All students did warm-up activities.

 7.15 A.M - 7.45 A.M

- All students gathered at the Agro-Tech Plantation site.

- Part 2's students handle conduct Roll-Call for today.

- Song the Negaraku, Wawasan Setia Warga UiTM and Planter's Song.

 8.00 A.M - 9.30 A.M

- Briefing and indentifying the main problem.

- Lecturer give assingments to students.

- A student of a row of durian trees that needs to be taken care of.

- I take care of row seven from the left end where there are 10 durian trees.

 PROBLEM ISSUES:

1. Hollow leaves are eaten by pests.

2. Lack of fertilizer that causes the leaves to fall.

3. Inadequate irrigation system for trees to thrive.

SUGGESTIONS TO OVERCOME:

1. Poison spray periodically.

2. Fertilize every two weeks to ensure the plant is more fertile.

3. Trees need to be watered a lot so that the trees are healthier.

PROBLEM ISSUE:

1. Fertilization on the tree is not visible.

2. Tree branches without too many leaves.

3. Weeding around the tree starts long.

SUGGESTION TO OVERCOME:

1. Fertilizing the type of fruit booster should be done for trees that are already big so that they can produce fruit.

2. Pruning old and rotten branches so that nutrients are received better.

3. Clearing the tree area to provide the path of water absorbed by the soil directly to the tree.

PROBLEM ISSUE:

1. Lack of nutrients from the soil which causes the tree to not grow.

2. Less pest attacks.

3. Tree trunks that are less stable to accommodate the branches at the top.

SUGGESTION TO OVERCOME:

 1. The area around the tree needs to be removed for tree fertility.

2. NPK fertilization needs to be placed on the tree to allow the tree to receive its nutrients again.

3. Irrigation system for trees is one way to help trees grow successfully.

PROBLEM ISSUE:

1. Lack of nutrients from the soil which causes the tree to not grow.

2. Less pest attacks.

3. A good tree trunk but the tree does not grow or is called stunted.

1. Disturbance from insect pests that damage the leaves.

2. Lack of leaves on each branch.

3. Weeding around the tree starts long.

SUGGESTION TO OVERCOME:

1. Spray poison on the leaves to prevent pests from returning.

2. Clearing the tree area to provide the path of water absorbed by the soil directly to the tree.

3. Fertilizer for the leaves to grow back needs to be placed so that the tree can carry out the process of photosynthesis.

PROBLEM ISSUE:

1. Disturbance from insect pests that damage the leaves.

2. Lack of leaves on each branch.

3. There is a wind fungus disease on the trunk of the tree.

SUGGESTION TO OVERCOME:

1. Spray poison on the leaves to prevent pests from returning.

2. To control wind fungus disease, we use Hexaconazole poison to restore the tree

3. Fertilizer for the leaves to grow back needs to be placed so that the tree can carry out the process of photosynthesis.

 PROBLEM ISSUE:

1. Disturbance from insect pests that damage the leaves.

2. There is a branch that has no leaves.

3. There is a wind fungus disease on the trunk of the tree.

SUGGESTION TO OVERCOME:

 1. To control wind fungus disease, we use Hexaconazole poison to restore the tree.

 2. Spray poison on the leaves to prevent pests from returning.

 3. Pruning dead branches so that the tree can produce new branches and leaves.

PROBLEM ISSUE:

1. Attacks from too many pests cause the leaves to become unattractive.

2. This tree experienced stunted growth causing it not to grow.

3. Tree branches are not like other trees that have lush tree branches.

SUGGESTION TO OVERCOME:

 1. A good irrigation system because weeding on the tree is less.

2. Sufficient fertilization to allow the roots to receive nutrients at the same time that the tree can start the cycle process again.

3. Use poisons to kill insects and use the correct tree growth booster fertilizer.

1. There are many branches without leaves.

2. Attacks from pests are less than other trees.

3. The tree is big but the pollination on the tree is not visible.

SUGGESTION TO OVERCOME:

1. Pesticide control should be sprayed to kill insects.

2. the best irrigation system is a lot of water to ensure the trees grow lushly and bear fruit quickly.

3. Pruning branches that should not be walked.

Planning for next week's activity:

1. Circle Weeding
    A) The tools needed are:
- Grass machine (1 unit)
Input:
- Petrol oil (1 liters)
- 2T oil (10ml)
- Nylon Strap (3 sets)

2. Fertilize around the Tree
 A) The tools required are:
- Bucket (1 unit)
- Small scoop (1 unit)
- Gloves (1 pair)
 Input:
NPK fertilizer
- NPK Green for small trees (0.5kg/tree X 8 trees = 4kg)
- NPK Blue for large trees (1kg X 2 trees = 2 kg)
The amount of NPK fertilizer used for my 10 trees is 6kg.
